About The Position

Supports IT Field Operations by providing Work Methods, Technical Support, Quality Control, Human Error Analysis & Investigation, and Training. Develops, designs, and maintains guidance documents that support Telecommunications field work. PG&E is providing the full salary/pay range for this position. The actual amount paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The range to reasonably expect will be around the minimum and the midpoint $102,000 - $132,000. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs. This is a hybrid position requiring work from a remote office and the assigned work location, with travel to other locations across the PG&E Service Territory based on business needs. The assigned work location is negotiable and must be within the PG&E Service Territory.

Requirements

  • High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
  • 8 years utility industry experience (electric or telecommunications)

Nice To Haves

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel within the PG&E service territory based on assignment and location
  • Experience with MS-Microsoft Office applications-Access, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, SharePoint, Word, 2 years
  • Record of Guidance Document Author training completion
  • Industry-recognized training certification or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with teams and leadership to address issues and support operational initiatives.
  • Provides technical expertise, historical context, industry standards, and regulatory guidance to enhance safety, productivity, and performance.
  • Leads the development, review, and maintenance of guidance documentation.
  • Identifies improvement opportunities and leads efforts to implement solutions, providing actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Supports the development and delivery of training programs.
