Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Work Control Manager opportunity to support the Savannah River Site. This role will support a multi-year construction project involving significant civil, mechanical, piping, electrical, and site infrastructure construction. The Work Control Manager will manage project work control and planning activities to support safe and efficient execution of construction work. This includes leading the development, review, coordination, and release of work packages in accordance with project procedures and requirements. The role involves coordinating work planning priorities with Construction, Engineering, Safety, Quality, Scheduling, Operations, and other project organizations, and ensuring work packages include all necessary documentation such as drawings, specifications, procedures, permits, inspections, testing, prerequisites, and work controls. The manager will oversee the planning and coordination of mechanical, piping, electrical, civil, and site infrastructure construction activities, ensuring that work packages adequately identify hazards, system interfaces, isolations, LOTO requirements, and other work controls. Responsibilities also include coordinating the resolution of technical, material, scheduling, and field issues affecting work package execution, monitoring work package status, readiness, constraints, completion, and closeout, and providing leadership and technical direction to Work Planners and Work Control personnel. The position supports construction scheduling, look-ahead planning, system turnover, and project completion activities, and ensures that completed work packages and associated records are properly documented and maintained.
