About The Position

We are seeking a Work Control Planner to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory! This position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico. This position supports a 24/7 operation and will be assigned to Shift A, B, or D based on management needs. Candidates must be willing and able to work all three shift schedules. The first 3–6 months will be worked on Shift A (Tuesday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM) for training. Following training, the employee will transition to their assigned permanent shift: Shift A: Tuesday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM (Day Shift) Shift B: Tuesday–Friday, 5:00 PM–3:00 AM (Swing Shift) Shift D: Friday–Monday, 5:00 PM–3:00 AM (Swing Shift)

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; additional, relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must be a United States (U.S.) citizen.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.

Experience with MWP.
Experience with P-6.
Experience with Asset Suite.

Responsibilities

Develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area.
Performs mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures and resolves work restraints and brings work packages to final closure.
