The ideal candidate will work independently, meet physical demands, and be ready to tackle additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent GED preferred.
Prior supervisory experience preferred but not required.
Standing for extended periods, walking, and using hands to operate tools and equipment with precision.
Regularly required to talk and listen.
Lift up to 50 pounds.
Perform physical movements like bending, squatting, reaching overhead, and occasionally crawling in tight spaces.
Repetitive hand tasks.
Climbing ladders or working at heights.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all safety policies across the work area and company-wide.
Safely and effectively operate both power and non-power tools.
Accurately interpret and apply measurements, including proficient tape measure use.
Apply quality standards with precision, maintaining zero to minimal defects per unit.
Read and understand detailed work orders with accuracy.
Actively participate in PPS, 5S, and TPM initiatives to drive efficiency.
Work required shifts, including overtime, to meet operational demands.
Assist in onboarding and on-the-job training for new team members.
Work effectively with little to no supervision while maintaining high performance.
Meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 50 lbs and performing extended standing, bending, stooping, reaching, and squatting.
Tackle additional tasks as needed- always ready to step up and support the team.
Effective use and coordination of resources to accomplish specific goals and outputs while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
Control and reduce truck hours to optimize operations.
Efficiently utilize people and resources such as overtime, equipment, and materials.
Plan and execute daily work both efficiently and effectively.
Coordinate activities across departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
Achieve truck delivery goals including daily, monthly, and on-time deliveries.
Monitor and control inventory levels to maintain appropriate availability and manage work-in-process.
Seek and develop new or improved processes that drive productivity and customer satisfaction.
Identify and develop solutions to problems as needed.
Demonstrate a commitment to quality and the quality process.
Completes assignments in an accurate and thorough manner.
Produces work that meets or exceeds standard including satisfying the requirements of internal or external customers.

Monitor quality of trucks in process and in rework, and communicate required actions.

Enforces or follows safe work practices.
