About The Position

Atrium Health, a leading community-focused academic health care system, is seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join their LiveWELL Pearl team in Charlotte, NC. Advocate Health, the largest healthcare system in the Carolinas, operates successful Work & Campus Care networks. LiveWELL Care clinics provide primary care and acute outpatient care services to Advocate Health employees and their covered family members. Additionally, LiveWELL Care offers Worker’s Comp and DOT physicals as an occupational medicine service for Advocate Health employees. This specific location also caters to Wake Forest School of Medicine and Carolinas College of Health Science students and faculty. The practice emphasizes a concierge experience with longer appointment times for both the APP and teammates, typically seeing 12-14 patients per day. The role involves call responsibility approximately every 12 weeks, which is nurse triage first, with no hospital work required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Family Medicine or Urgent Care
  • NC Licensure
  • DEA
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Must be able to work autonomously

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care and acute outpatient care services to Advocate Health employees and their covered family members
  • Provide Worker’s Comp and DOT physicals as an occupational medicine service for Advocate Health employees
  • See Wake Forest School of Medicine and Carolinas College of Health Science students and faculty
  • Perform Workers’ Comp cases for Atrium Health
  • Perform some limited occupational medicine exams (DOT)
  • Participate in call responsibility about every 12 weeks (nurse triage first)
