About The Position
Atrium Health invites experienced Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to join their Mobile Unit West team in Charlotte and surrounding areas. This role is dedicated to bringing quality patient care directly into local communities. The team collaborates with primary care clinics, acute care facilities, and community partners to offer comprehensive wrap-around services for patients and their families. This is a 100% outpatient opportunity, primarily a Monday through Friday day shift, operating out of a Mobile Medicine Unit. The position involves four days of direct patient care and one administrative day, providing episodic care management in a walk-up clinic setting.
Requirements
- NP/PA with at least 2 plus years’ experience in a primary care setting
- Dedicated to understanding the complex needs and challenges facing patients
- Desire to deliver quality care to the underserved population

Responsibilities
- Bring quality patient care into local communities within the Charlotte and nearby areas
- Work together with primary care clinics, acute care facilities, and community partners to provide wrap around services for patients and their families
- Provide patient care for 4 days a week
- Perform administrative duties for 1 day a week
- Provide episodic care management in a walk-up clinic setting
