The Work Café Concierge is the primary customer-facing role within the Work Café, responsible for creating an engaging, welcoming, and professional environment for customers. This role involves coordinating co-working and meeting facilities, assisting with Work Café events and programming, and supporting customer needs by handling routine transactions and coordinating specialized support with Work Café Relationship Managers and other Santander resources. The Concierge is expected to take personal responsibility for delivering on Santander's and Work Café’s customer experience standards, creating exceptional customer experiences with every interaction. They act as the first point of contact for all customers entering the Work Café, directing them professionally and engagingly. A key aspect of the role is being a self-service expert, proactively encouraging customers to use digital products and services by explaining the benefits of alternative channels. The Concierge will also support the Work Café Manager and Events Manager with specialized programming and events, including promotion and day-of activities such as greeting, check-in, set up, and clean up. They will manage and coordinate all customer and colleague room bookings, ensuring rooms are welcoming and in good order before and after appointments. Additionally, the Concierge will work closely with third-party baristas and cleaners to maintain a welcoming environment and effectively address any issues.
