About The Position

Shape the Future of Mobility at Nissan: Launch Your Career, Drive Innovation. We are currently looking for a Work Based Learning - Technician to join our team in Decherd, TN. A Day in the Life: Assembly of automobiles and automotive parts using air and/or battery power tools and hand tools. Work as part of a team at a workstation along an assembly line completing a designated section of the product before moving it along to the next station. May work as a member of assembly, paint, or other groups and be assigned different work stations/rotations as production needs require. Able to follow all apparel guidelines specific to each department.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age and a Junior in High School
• Successfully complete chemical screen and thorough background check to include criminal history and work history
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. and be able to stand for long periods of time
• Hard-working with the ability to stay focused, pay attention to detail
• Safety conscious and able to work well with others
• Candidates for this position must be legally authorized to work in the United States and will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility at the time of hire; Nissan uses E-Verify to validate employment eligibility.
