About The Position

The Interim Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Ebony E. Prophet-Bullock, Ed.D., is interested in receiving applications from qualified candidates for the position of: WORK BASED LEARNING COORDINATOR FOR CAREER AND TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE) AT OTC. This role involves overseeing Work Based Learning activities in compliance with NYSED and NYSDOL guidelines, collaborating with partners to develop and oversee work experiences, and assisting in student assessment setup and administration.

Requirements

• Hold a permanent/professional New York State teaching certificate
• Have or be in the process of completing applications for a valid New York State Work-Based Career Awareness and/or Coordinator of Cooperative Work Study Programs Extension
• Completed three years of approved and appropriate teaching and/or administrative experience, preferably in a high school setting
• Experience with students accessing special education services

Nice To Haves

• Special consideration will be given to applicants who hold a Special Education teaching certificate.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with all NYSED and NYSDOL guidelines as they pertain to school youth in all work-based learning experiences
• Collaborate in the set up and administration of student assessment
• Oversee the Work Based Learning activities as outlined by NYSED parameters
• Collaborate with partners to develop and oversee work experiences
