About The Position

Compound Design is hiring for shop and installation positions and is willing to train suitable candidates. The Shop Team Member rotates among cabinet assembly, finishing and operating the paint booth, CNC operation, fabrication, and general woodshop work, gaining hands-on experience across the building process. Installers spend most of their day at job sites installing cabinetry and finished work for clients. Prior installation or carpentry experience is a plus but is not required. The role involves physical shop and job-site work and requires reliability, teamwork, communication, and a willingness to learn through hands-on training. The position offers full-time, steady work, paid hands-on training, half-day Fridays, and opportunities to grow skills. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Occasional Saturdays may be required. The work location is 5372 Doniphan Dr., Suite B2, El Paso, TX.

Requirements

General knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and shop safety.
Ability to work well with others and communicate on the job.
Willingness to do physical shop work and get dirty.
Willingness to learn and absorb skills through hands-on training.
Reliability and readiness to commit to full-time work.
For installers, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

Nice To Haves

Installation or carpentry experience.
Experience in cabinetry, millwork, carpentry, construction, fabrication, or CNC.

Responsibilities
