About The Position

The Wood CNC Operator cuts and machines parts for Assembly using CNC equipment and software. The role involves reading blueprints and materials to ensure correct data is entered into the CNC machine, executing millwork jobs, and operating and programming other shop machinery, including an edge bander and boring machine. The position operates in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. Duties and responsibilities may change, and reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Requirements

• Ability to read blueprints, interior design drawings, and architectural drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under tight time constraints and demanding schedules, and to prioritize.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical/musculoskeletal exam.
• Must pass drug screening.
• Must pass an audiogram test.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a daily basis.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Some additional training at a technical school.
