About The Position

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses for the Women's Services department in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. Nurses must be comfortable working across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Antepartum. Cross-training for Postpartum and Antepartum may be provided if needed. Candidates must have at least two years of Labor and Delivery RN experience, including experience within the past two years. Candidates without Labor and Delivery nursing experience will not be considered.

Requirements

• Current North Carolina RN license, or a qualifying Compact RN license with the required North Carolina endorsement or authorization.
• At least 2 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Recent Labor and Delivery experience within the past 2 years.
• Willingness and ability to work across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Antepartum.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hospital-based healthcare environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa support.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a hospital Women's Services or maternity department.
• Experience caring for patients during labor, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.
• Familiarity with maternal and fetal monitoring, obstetric emergencies, and maternity nursing protocols.
• Experience providing antepartum and postpartum care.
• Strong patient education, teamwork, and care-coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Work across Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Antepartum areas.
• Provide patient care in a hospital-based healthcare environment.
• Complete cross-training for Postpartum and Antepartum if necessary.
