Requirements

  • Licensed mental health provider who holds an active license in MA. All applicants must be able to practice independently / without supervision.
  • Licensures that qualify include the following: Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
  • Formal perinatal/peri/menopause mental health training or a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience working with pregnant and/or postpartum and/or peri/menopause patients is strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International is recommended but not required.
  • Proof of certification in the treatment of the Peri/Menopause population is recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual tele-therapy to patients requesting regular sessions using FamilyWell’s virtual platform.
  • Conduct one-on-one psychological intakes for referred FamilyWell program patients, gathering comprehensive assessments to inform treatment planning.
  • Document patient progress comprehensively, sharing treatment recommendations with medical providers, psychiatric consultants, and other treating professionals as needed.
  • Facilitate treatment plan modifications for patients needing more intensive or specialized mental health care, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions.
  • Develop and deliver Care Plans post-session, offering patients actionable insights and follow-up steps.
