About The Position

Resilience Behavioral Health is a client-centered behavioral health treatment organization offering comprehensive care for individuals navigating mental health and substance use conditions. Their programs span Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and standard Outpatient levels of care, with a strong foundation in dual-diagnosis treatment that addresses both psychiatric and substance use conditions together. Their therapeutic approach draws on a wide range of evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based practices. Resilience is deeply committed to serving diverse populations through culturally responsive, trauma-informed care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Primary Therapist to join the Resilience Behavioral Health team in Massachusetts. This is a full-time clinical role delivering individual and group therapy services within a structured outpatient setting. The ideal candidate brings strong clinical skills, a genuine passion for supporting individuals in their recovery, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field required
  • Massachusetts license or license-eligible status required (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and experience working with diverse populations
  • Strong clinical documentation skills and familiarity with EMR systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of experience in a behavioral health or mental health treatment setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group therapy to clients in a Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and/or Intensive Outpatient (IOP) setting
  • Develop and maintain individualized, client-centered treatment plans in accordance with clinical standards
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and ongoing clinical documentation in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff to coordinate care
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as clinically indicated
  • Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory, licensure, and documentation requirements
