This position involves collaborating with nurses and other hospital personnel to provide coordinated quality home medical equipment. The role also focuses on providing courteous customer service and ensuring the profitable operation of the Retail Shop for patients, visitors, and employees.

Requirements

• High School or GED
• Ability to count money, make change and do basic math
• Ability to perform bra fittings
• Ability to perform compression hose fittings
• Ability to conduct assessments for proper fittings for bras and compression hose
• Knowledge of home medical equipment

Nice To Haves

• One year cash register experience in a retail establishment
• One year of experience with customer service

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to customers in selecting purchases, record sales on cash register, collect payments, make change and bag items utilizing customer service standards to contribute to the profitability of the gift shop.
• Clean assigned areas of the gift shop, maintaining the quality of merchandise and the attractive appearance of the gift shop.
• Consult nurses to discuss and recommend medical equipment for home use, input, verify and qualify patients for appropriate medical equipment, and instruct patients on proper and safe use of equipment.
• Provide bra fittings.
• Stock and display shelves with merchandise, placing price tags on merchandise as required to provide customers with variety and selection, thereby adding to customer satisfaction.
• Open and close the cash register, verify cash amount at RMH cashier's, set up cash till, and deposit cash bank.
