About The Position

Sonic Healthcare USA, a Great Place to Work certified employer, is seeking a personable, professional, and confident Phlebotomist for Visionary Women's Health in Columbia, MD. This full-time, benefit-eligible role involves providing exceptional patient care, performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, collecting and preparing non-blood specimens, and ensuring proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous phlebotomy training or experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer and data entry skills

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
• Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.
• Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.
• Collect/prepare non-blood specimens.
• Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.
