About The Position

Tia is seeking an early-career Physician to provide gynecology-focused, whole-person outpatient care at its Studio City clinic. This role is designed for a recent residency graduate interested in women's health, primary care, and integrated outpatient medicine. The position offers a supportive, team-based care model to strengthen clinical skills, expand gynecology scope, and develop independence. Responsibilities include preventive visits, primary care, reproductive health, gynecology follow-ups, lab reviews, care plan generation, and managing common health concerns. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in women's health and primary care, with a desire to grow expertise in areas like endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, abnormal bleeding, fertility assessment, menopause care, contraception, and STI care. The role also encompasses general primary care issues such as respiratory symptoms, digestive issues, headaches, blood pressure checks, vaccinations, skin concerns, sleep issues, weight management, and mental health screening. This position provides exposure to a modern, integrated care model and opportunities for professional development within a team committed to clinical excellence and collaboration.

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or OB/GYN.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program, or currently in final year of residency.
  • Active California Medical License, or in process.
  • Active DEA registration, or ability to obtain prior to start.
  • Strong clinical foundation in preventive care, annual exams, primary care, and common acute and chronic conditions.
  • Foundational experience or strong interest in women’s health, gynecology, reproductive health, contraception, STI care, annual preventive exams, and problem-based gynecology visits.
  • Interest in growing clinical confidence across gynecologic concerns such as endometriosis, PCOS, fibroids, abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, fertility assessment, trying-to-conceive counseling, and gynecology follow-up.
  • Comfort with mental health screening and longitudinal follow-up within scope, including anxiety, depression, mood, stress, and sleep-related concerns.
  • Strong clinical judgment, excellent patient communication skills, and a commitment to inclusive, affirming, patient-centered care.
  • Comfort working in a collaborative care model and partnering with operations to balance access, quality, documentation, and patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide gynecology-focused, whole-person outpatient care in Tia’s Studio City clinic.
  • Deliver preventive care, annual exams, primary care visits, gynecology visits, reproductive health counseling, lab review, care plan generation, and follow-up care.
  • Evaluate and manage common gynecologic and reproductive health concerns, including contraception counseling, STI care, vaginal, vulvar, urinary, and genital symptoms, cervical cancer screening follow-up, pregnancy confirmation, all-options pregnancy counseling, pelvic pain, cramps, abnormal bleeding, PCOS, fibroids, endometriosis, fertility assessment, trying-to-conceive counseling, fertility follow-up, and gynecology follow-up visits.
  • Provide whole-person primary care for common outpatient concerns, including cough, cold and flu symptoms, abdominal or digestive issues, headaches, blood pressure checks, ear and eye issues, vaccines and injections, acne, rashes, skin changes, sleep disturbances, and weight management visits.
  • Conduct mental health screenings and follow-up within scope, including anxiety, depression, mood, stress, and sleep-related concerns.
  • Support patients through menopause and perimenopause assessment and follow-up, sexual wellness concerns, and other women’s health needs.
  • Partner closely with physicians, APPs, RNs, behavioral health providers, clinic operations, and clinical leadership to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Use technology, data, and clinical protocols to support evidence-based care, efficient documentation, and high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Actively engage in mentorship, training, case review, and feedback to build confidence and expand clinical scope over time.
