Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Genesis OBGYN, an affiliate of Unified Women’s Healthcare, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their practice at Women's Medical Care in Prescott, AZ. This role is 100% focused on women's health, encompassing both obstetrics and gynecology. The practice aims to provide a superior level of care in a friendly and personalized environment, expanding to meet community needs. Prescott, Arizona, offers a desirable lifestyle with its small-town charm, mountain scenery, outdoor activities, and proximity to Phoenix and Flagstaff. Position Highlights include joining a practice with 2 OBGYNs and 2 Nurse Practitioners, a flexible schedule in an outpatient-only setting with options for a 4 or 5-day work week, and no evenings, weekends, or call responsibilities. The practice focuses exclusively on women's health, including prenatal and postpartum care, well-woman visits, contraceptive care, menopausal care, and some procedures. Daily activities involve prescribing medications and therapies, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, providing pre and post-natal care, family planning services, patient education, and collaborating with physicians. The team consists of fully licensed medical professionals and support staff.
Requirements
- National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
- Unrestricted, active licensure in Arizona or ability to obtain
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
- CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
- Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
- Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
- Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
Nice To Haves
- One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
Responsibilities
- Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures

- Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care
