About The Position

Summit Health is seeking an experienced, Board Certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our established group at our White Plains, NY location. This role involves providing general medical care and treatment to patients in direct collaboration with a licensed physician, in accordance with an approved written practice agreement and guidelines. Services provided by the NP will include health maintenance, management of acute/episodic illnesses and management of stable chronic illnesses. The position is located in Westchester County, known for its high quality of life, excellent schools, and proximity to NYC.

Responsibilities

• Conducting physical examinations
• Interpreting lab tests and overseeing patients’ health
• Providing gynecological care
• Wellness Women exams
• Breast Cancer screening
• Pap smears
• Health maintenance
• Management of acute/episodic illnesses
• Management of stable chronic illnesses
