Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
About The Position
Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking an experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a patient-centered gynecology and women’s health practice in South Miami. The practice is dedicated to delivering exceptional, personalized care in a modern, welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will value clinical excellence, professionalism, and outstanding patient service. This role involves performing routine GYN exams, IUD insertions/removals, and all aspects of women's health, as well as recording patient history and following up with patients. There are no obstetrics or hospital responsibilities, and no call is required.
Requirements
- National NP or PA certification or ability to obtain
- Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
- Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
- CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
- Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
- Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
- Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
Nice To Haves
- Florida-licensed NP or PA
- Gynecology or women’s health experience preferred
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, organized, and patient-focused
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating closely with the physician
- EMR experience (Athena experience is a plus)
