About The Position
Virtua OB/GYN is seeking to add a board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to their team. Experience working as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner is preferred. The role involves providing a range of services including annual well-woman exams, breast exams and mammogram referrals, pregnancy care, personalized education, menopause symptom management, sexually transmitted infection testing, contraceptive counseling, treatments for various gynecological conditions, adolescent gynecology, permanent sterilization, and workup for infertility.
Requirements
- Board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner
- Experience working as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Annual well woman exams
- Breast exams and mammogram referrals
- Pregnancy care
- Personalized education
- Menopause symptom management
- Sexually transmitted infection testing
- Contraceptive counseling, including long-term reversible methods such as IUDs and implants
- Full range of treatments for endometriosis, uterine fibroids, heavy bleeding, and pelvic pain
- Adolescent gynecology
