About The Position
Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in the Bronx, New York. This is a flexible float role providing coverage across multiple locations as needed due to call-outs, vacations, and other staffing needs. Note: This position does not involve deliveries.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited Women's Health Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board Certified as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).
- At least 1 year of experience in women's health as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Proficient in performing annual well-woman exams, family planning counseling, STI diagnosis and management, and managing perimenopause and menopause symptoms.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, cultural competence, flexibility, and the ability to adapt to different practice locations and patient populations.

Responsibilities
- Educate patients about women's health issues.
- Perform annual exams and provide well-woman care.
- Help women with family planning and selecting birth control.
- Offer care during perimenopause and menopause.
- Diagnose and help patients manage sexually transmitted infections.
