About The Position

Comprehensive Women's Healthcare, affiliated with Unified Women’s Healthcare, is seeking a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity within a thriving practice that includes 3 Physicians, 1 Physician Assistant, and 3 Nurse Practitioners. The role involves seeing a diverse patient population with a balance of OB and GYN patients, and performing in-office procedures. The practice is part of the Genesis OBGYN team, a physician-owned and led organization with multiple locations across Arizona, offering a full spectrum of women's health services. The position is outpatient only with no call responsibilities.

Requirements

National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
Unrestricted, active Arizona licensure or ability to obtain
Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician

Responsibilities

Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures
Provide pre and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling
Assist and work closely with physicians to provide patient care
Perform in office procedures
