About The Position
Unified Women's Healthcare, a leading national platform for women's healthcare, is seeking a Full Time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner to join their practice, Women's Health Associates of Southern Nevada (WHASN), at the WHASN - City Center Women's Health Urgent Care Center. WHASN is a physician-owned and led, private practice, single specialty group serving the greater Las Vegas area since 2009, with over 22 locations including 2 mammography centers and 4 women's health urgent cares. With over 97 providers, WHASN is a market leader in women's health in the area. This role involves seeing both OB and GYN patients in an urgent care capacity within a fast-paced environment, allowing for independent practice. The position is located in Las Vegas, Nevada, which offers a unique blend of entertainment, affordability, and lifestyle amenities, including no state income tax, a robust job market, and over 300 sunny days a year. Beyond the Strip, Las Vegas provides diverse neighborhoods, excellent schools, and access to outdoor recreation such as Red Rock Canyon and Lake Mead.
Requirements
- Board Certified APRN (FNP or WHNP)
- Current Unrestricted Nevada Medical License (or the Ability to Obtain One)
- At least 2 years (or 2000 hours) of work experience as an APRN
- Previous experience seeing both obstetrics and gynecology patients
Responsibilities
- See both OB and GYN patients in an urgent care capacity only.
