About The Position

Unified Women’s Healthcare, through its affiliated practice WHASN (Women's Health Associates of Southern Nevada), is seeking a Full Time Women's Health Nurse Practitioner for their WHASN-Northwest office. This role is ideal for an independent practitioner looking to shape an established and busy practice. The position requires the ability to see and manage both OB and GYN patients. The Nurse Practitioner will join one OBGYN in this outpatient-only practice, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The scope of practice is 100% women's health, encompassing patient exams, screenings, treatments, health history recording, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, providing pre and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education. The practice has a fully licensed medical team and support staff in place, and there are no call, evening, or weekend responsibilities.

Requirements

National Nurse Practitioner Certification
Unrestricted, active and independent practice licensure in Nevada or ability to obtain
Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
At least 2000 hours of experience as a provider
