About The Position

Penobscot Community Health Care is seeking a BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to focus on Women’s Health at our Adult Wellness Center (AWC) in Bangor. The successful applicant will have prior clinical advanced practice experience or training in Women’s Health. Some key responsibilities will include colposcopy exams and biopsies, IUD care, contraceptive and HRT counseling. The Women’s Health provider will have their own outpatient women’s health panel. The position is planned for part-time, between 32-34 hours per week, Monday – Thursday. No evenings or weekends. The women’s health provider works closely with an interdisciplinary team of peer professionals in Women’s Health and Primary Care, Behavioral and Substance Use Disorder, Primary Care Pharmacy and more at AWC and throughout the PCHC organization. The Women’s Health Provider is an integral member of the AWC’s well-rounded adult-focused team offering comprehensive outpatient primary care and minor office procedures.
