About The Position

Assists in the organization, development, and leadership of a newly established Women’s Flag Football program in support of the mission and core values of Union College. This is a temporary, part-time, non-benefit eligible position with a pay rate of $25.00 per hour. The role involves recruiting, NCAA compliance oversight, administrative assistance, and game day management. The College is committed to excellence in academics and athletics, diversity, and a well-balanced, broad-based intercollegiate athletics program dedicated to the student-athlete.

Requirements

Prior experience in recruiting prospective student-athletes to a varsity intercollegiate athletics program.
Possess solid organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Understanding of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends is required.
Ability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 30 lbs.) and stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.
A valid New York State driver’s license is required.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
The ability to foster and enhance a thriving, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community, while promoting a sense of belonging among students, alumni, faculty, and staff colleagues.

Responsibilities

Takes the lead role as the programs recruiting coordinator with responsibility for recruiting prospective student-athletes to the Flag football program.
NCAA compliance oversight for student-athletes and staff.
Assists in organizing and managing team logistics, including travel arrangements and equipment.
Fosters a positive and inclusive team environment.
Assist head coach in overall game day operations.
