Women's Club Soccer Coach (temporary, part-time)

About The Position

The head coach will oversee all on-field aspects of the Women's Club Soccer team. Coaches will collaborate with team captains to develop and implement practice plans and drills, focusing on teaching strategy. They are expected to attend every practice and competition, and assist in managing team dynamics. The coach will also liaise with the club's executive board, which handles scheduling and fundraising. This role operates under Campus Recreation and is distinct from the Athletics department.

Requirements

• Previous experience in coaching or participating in soccer.
• Flexible availability and a high level of responsibility.
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent.
• First-Aid, CPR, AED, & Blood Borne Pathogen certifications (must be obtained within 90 days of starting).

Responsibilities

• Provide skill development for college students catering to various skill levels.
• Organize safe and appropriate sport sessions.
• Supervise, mentor, and guide participating members of the club.
• Attend all team practices and games.
• Act in emergencies by performing evacuations and providing First-Aid, CPR, and AED as certified.
• Other duties as assigned.
