About The Position

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (Little Rock Athletics) is looking for a Women’s Soccer Assistant Coach who will serve under the direction of the Head Coach. This position will be responsible for assisting the head coach in the successful execution in planning, developing and administering all phases of the women’s soccer program. All duties and responsibilities are governed by state, federal and university policy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
• Knowledge of NCAA, Ohio Valley Conference and university rules and regulations
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Ability to travel extensively for competition and recruiting purposes
• Knowledge of budgeting processes
• Ability to interact in a professional manner with people and present a positive image of the university
• Have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
• Soccer coaching experience at the collegiate level
• Goalkeeper coaching experience

Responsibilities

• Recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes
• Assist in budget preparation and administration
• Coordinate team travel arrangements
• Monitor academic progress towards degree
• Assist head coach in practice and game preparation
• Coordinating community service opportunities
• Plan and implement training programs for student-athletes
• Assist with NCAA compliance reporting and academic monitoring
• Other duties as assigned
