About The Position

The Assistant Coach of Women’s Soccer reports to the Head Coach and the Director of Athletics. Assists in overseeing all aspects of operating a successful college level intercollegiate athletic program. All responsibilities will be under the leadership of the Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics.

Demonstrated skill in making strategic recommendations to enhance the team’s performance

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred.
One or more years of successful high school, college, or private coaching experience is preferred.
Ability to work a flexible and irregular schedule

Responsibilities

Assist student-athletes in obtaining spiritual growth and track academic progress. Provide appropriate advice and assistance to help ensure the success of each student-athlete’s spiritual development and completed stated program of study.
Instruction of student-athletes – teaching sport-specific skills, tactics, and techniques required per team and individualized workouts, practices, and games.
Report any known or suspected violations of the NCAA and/or university rules by head coach, assistant coach(es), student-athletes, staff, etc. promptly to the Director of Athletics.
Assist in organizing and supervising all practices, games, and other workout sessions for the team. Assist head coach in the instruction and coaching of student athletes.
Evidence of a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations governing intercollegiate competition and adhere to the rules and standards established by NCAA.
