Open Door Mission has been restoring hope and changing lives for Rochester's men, women, and children since 1952. This role is for the Women and Children's Program, specifically at the Coldwater House, which provides case management, life skills, spiritual enrichment, and housing to 6-11 families (women and children only). The program is developing to include transitional housing for up to two non-custodial mothers. The onsite supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day direction of staff, clients, and volunteers, aligning with the mission of 'Restoring hope and changing lives' and the core values of Faith, Family, Compassion, Community, and Stewardship. This position involves supervising onsite staff, providing oversight to case management for families experiencing homelessness with mental health, substance abuse, and/or co-morbid disorders, leading weekly House Meetings, and overseeing Bible Study and Life Skills classes. It may also involve overseeing children and implementing activities with them.
