About The Position

As a Christian school, we seek coaches who share our faith and are committed to modeling Christian values both on and off the field. Our goal is to build competitive teams while fostering character, discipline, and integrity in our student-athletes. CCCS is seeking a qualified and motivated coach to lead our High School Woman's Varsity Volleyball. The coaching position is offered as an Independent Contractor role for the upcoming season - running from August 10, 2026 to November 7, 2026. The position offers a competitive stipend and the flexibility to help shape and grow a successful volleyball team within an expanding athletic department. CCCS is committed to providing student-athletes with high quality coaching across all sports. The ideal coach will have a solid background in volleyball, demonstrating a deep understanding of the game’s technical aspects as well as a strong emphasis on teaching core fundamentals. The coach should be able to effectively develop players’ skills, foster a positive team environment, and communicate strategies that enhance individual and team performance. Additionally, the coach will bring a collaborative leadership style and a broad understanding of and competitive techniques. The ability to adapt to the team’s needs and emphasize athletes strengths while supporting individual development is essential for success as a coach.

Requirements

• CPR Certification
• Valid CA Driver License
• Willingness to undergo a Live Scan Fingerprinting
• Willingness to complete a TB Test
• Solid background in volleyball
• Deep understanding of the game’s technical aspects
• Strong emphasis on teaching core fundamentals
• Ability to effectively develop players’ skills
• Ability to foster a positive team environment
• Ability to communicate strategies that enhance individual and team performance
