WMS Super User

LuminizeFort Worth, TX
$105,000 - $125,000Onsite

About The Position

Coastal Trading Ventures is hiring a WMS Superuser to own our Warehouse Management System end-to-end, administering AppSheet and Google Sheets today, and leading the transition into a live SQL environment with a custom UI tomorrow. You'll be the technical liaison between the warehouse floor and Software Engineering, using Agile/Sprint processes, Looker Studio, and Power BI/Tableau reporting to keep operations running clean. This role requires hands-on WMS, AppSheet, and SQL experience and offers the opportunity to own a system end-to-end. Coastal Trading Ventures is a high-growth eCommerce fulfillment operation powered by smart systems and a team that takes operational excellence seriously. We're investing in the infrastructure, technology, and people that will define how we scale — and this role sits at the center of that work. We're not looking for someone to maintain the status quo. We're looking for someone to help us build what's next.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Logistics, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 4+ years in warehouse operations with a focus on WMS configuration
  • Working proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
  • Strong hands-on experience with AppSheet and advanced Google Sheets (QUERY, ArrayFormula, data validation)
  • Experience helping transition spreadsheet-based workflows into a live database or custom UI
  • Proficiency in Looker Studio
  • Direct experience working alongside a software dev team (bug tickets, Agile/Sprint cycles)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau
  • Light scripting/automation experience (e.g., Google Apps Script)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the operational contact during our shift from Google Sheets/AppSheet to a live database and custom frontend
  • Translate warehouse workflows into system logic, and plan cutover sequencing so operations never slow down
  • Partner with the Principal Systems Architect and Engineering team to test, roll out, and optimize features — you're the go-to for turning floor-level context into actionable technical input
  • Own user accounts, access permissions, and configuration across current and future-state systems
  • Maintain master data integrity (SKUs, locations, workflows) and run routine QC audits to catch errors before they hit operations
  • Lead root-cause analysis and bug resolution, validate new features before sign-off, and maintain a feedback loop with Engineering
  • Represent associate concerns and proactively propose system improvements
  • Coordinate staging tests and live beta testing with warehouse "power users"
  • Build SOPs and visual training guides; lead hands-on training ahead of every deployment
  • Act as floor liaison on deployment days, monitoring stability and funneling critical bugs to Engineering

Benefits

  • Medical plan
  • Paid vacation
