About The Position

SiteOne Landscape Supply is seeking an onsite Warehouse Management System (WMS) Specialist to play an integral role in the launch and ongoing support of a new WMS system at their distribution center in Palmetto, GA. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Manhattan Active, a cloud-based WMS. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with WMS implementation, Manhattan Associates software, and a strong customer service background in wholesale or retail. Experience with new site start-up, process building, and documentation is preferred. SiteOne is the largest national distributor of landscaping products, known for its extensive inventory and commitment to customer experience and associate development.

Requirements

  • Experience managing WMS related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.
  • WMS administration management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.
  • A track record of providing superior customer service and exceeding expectations.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not provided.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Manhattan WMS.
  • Experience with SQL or other query/programming language.
  • Functional knowledge of other supply chain management applications (ERP, IP&R, TMS, YMS, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the on-site subject matter expert (Super User) for WMS, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting to warehouse staff.
  • Train end-users and other WMS Super Users on WMS functionalities and best practices.
  • Interpret WMS data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
  • Utilize WMS to support the Distribution Operation, including implementation, maintenance, optimization, development, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Translate business objectives into tactical systems requirements and tailor communication to the audience.
  • Partner with systems and operations leadership to develop SOPs and training materials for key WMS processes.
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership, Inventory Control, WMS application support, and internal IT to resolve system-related issues.
  • Test WMS functionality for process changes and system upgrades.
  • Make recommendations for WMS enhancements to maintain business expectations and improve operational performance.
  • Support external system integration with WMS.
  • Support other internal and external business units for WMS-related activities.
  • Manage logistics projects internally with the Supply Chain leadership team.
  • Provide basic to intermediate Transportation Management System (TMS) support to the on-site transportation team.
