About The Position

We’re looking for a WMOS Infrastructure Support Consultant with hands-on Manhattan WMOS/WMS production support and system administration experience. You’ll work across application servers, Linux/Unix, logs, SQL, cron jobs, integrations, and deployments to help maintain stable and reliable warehouse management system operations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in application/infrastructure support or production support.
  • Hands-on Manhattan WMOS/WMS experience in a production environment.
  • Strong Linux/Unix CLI, shell scripting, process monitoring, and log analysis skills.
  • Strong SQL skills for troubleshooting and data investigation.
  • Experience with cron/batch job

Responsibilities

  • Perform WMS application restarts following configuration changes and maintenance activities.
  • Deploy Jasper reports, label files, and configuration artifacts across WMS nodes.
  • Perform SDN updates and configure application alerts.
  • Manage report schedules through enterprise reporting platforms.
  • Enable diagnostic logging through command-line tools, gather logs, and document issues for escalation.
  • Monitor application nodes for stuck processes and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Analyze application logs to troubleshoot UI failures, transaction errors, and performance issues.
  • Set up and maintain billing connections between WMS and supporting application servers.
  • Configure cron jobs and scheduled processes, including task releases, batch jobs, inventory processes, and invoicing.
  • Configure and test MHE endpoints, including setup, diagnostic logging, failover testing, and load balancer configuration.
  • Troubleshoot PIX transactions, inventory processing failures, and related scheduling/export issues.
  • Troubleshoot application loading errors during builds and deployments.
  • Investigate wave and allocation failures, identify root causes through log analysis, use SQL to pinpoint affected orders or items, and coordinate data remediation as required.
  • Automate routine environment tasks, including verification and validation scripting, automated restarts, and other operational support activities.
