About The Position

Sound is seeking a WISe Clinician in Bellevue, WA, to work with intensive-needs children and adolescents with behavioral health disorders. The role involves assisting clients and their families in achieving optimal health and community engagement using recovery and wraparound principles. The clinician will provide assessment, direct clinical intervention, and supportive consultation to children, adolescents, and adult family members presenting with a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and co-occurring disorders, adhering to State fidelity standards. Services are primarily delivered in homes, schools, and communities, with an emphasis on intensive therapeutic services to the child, adolescent, and family system. Collaboration with assigned WISe team members and collateral services (schools, social service agencies, inpatient facilities, caseworkers, etc.) is crucial. The clinician will also work with other child-serving systems, including child welfare, education, intellectual disabilities, and juvenile justice, to develop holistic, strength-based, recovery-oriented therapeutic plans to support children and adolescents with significant mental health challenges in the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of directly related clinical experience to the program as a clinician or case manager and demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and treatment.
• Washington State driver's license and insurable driving record required.
• Must be able to obtain a WA State Agency Affiliated Counselor credential within the first 60 days of hire.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a counseling-related field, with a strong emphasis on working with families and community agencies preferred.
• Mental Health Professional (MHP) designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic assessment (as qualified).
• Provide ongoing assessment of client's strengths and needs.
• Use appropriate therapeutic modalities to build on strengths and attend to client's needs, including individual and family therapy.
• Assist in the development of individualized cross system care plans to address the needs and priorities of the family across multiple life domains, maximizing the involvement of natural team members and community members.
• Meet county standards with service intensity expectations.
• Facilitate support for the strengths and vision of high needs children and their families, including collaboration with other team members such as caregivers, DSHS DDA, school districts, the court system, community mental health, and natural supports integral to the wraparound process.
• Provide therapeutic support/psycho-education to families.
• Provide in-home therapeutic services as indicated in the Wraparound plan.
• Case management as needed.
• Complete all paperwork according to agency policy and contract requirements, including progress reports, service tickets, service plans, and scheduled reviews.
• Learn and utilize Electronic Medical Records.
• Work with the team to provide ongoing safety planning for clients and families.
• Share in on-call rotation for after-hours response to WISe program families.
• Participate if needed with hospitalization or crisis placement of clients.
• Attend appropriate community-based networking meetings as requested.
• Seek out additional training and support as needed.
• Uphold a culture of privacy and security in a highly confidential work environment (HIPAA covered entity service area).
• Comply with all CCSWW policies and procedures involving access to and safeguarding of client Protected Health Information (all forms).
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
