About The Position

GE Vernova's Grid Solutions business is seeking Wiring Technicians to apply their knowledge of electricity by reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical drawings, and machine prints to assemble cabinets. This role is crucial in electrifying the world with advanced grid technology and accelerating the energy transition.

Requirements

High reliability
Flexible and able to work weekends when business need dictates
Some experience in wiring/electrical or motor control wiring

Responsibilities

Ability to read electrical schematics/drawings for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
Cuts, strips, bends, and forms wire cable, conduit pipe, and tubing used to connect circuits and subassemblies.
Installation of components to build the cabinet.
Point to point wiring and using crimp connectors to wire ends.
Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify assembly problems.
Performs assembly functions in accordance with Quality Control Procedures to ensure the output will meet QC and customer standards.
Ensures quality and neatness of work.
Flexibility to learn and work within several different wiring functions/stations.
