About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring for a Wiring Technician in Saint Louis, MO 63132. As a Wiring Technician, you will wire and assemble electrical control panels and control cabinets, read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, cut, strip, route, and terminate wires according to industry standards, install breakers, grounding systems, relays, and other electrical components, perform panel layouts, cutouts, and modifications, assist with conduit cutting, bending, threading, and installation, support tubing installation, including cutting, bending, and reaming, complete electrical wiring inside control houses and industrial equipment, use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, and follow quality standards and manufacturing procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Basic understanding of electrical symbols and wiring practices
• Knowledge of basic electrical concepts and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and perform physical tasks
• Willingness to work in a production manufacturing environment
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday
