Wiring Associate 1st & 2nd Shift
About The Position
Volt is immediately hiring Wiring Associates in El Paso, TX. As a Wiring Associate, you will perform wiring assembly operations of one job from a pre-arranged kit. You will assemble moderately to complex electro-mechanical products and custom switchboard cabinetry, which may involve medium to large-sized parts. This role requires reading complex prints and schematics, troubleshooting, fabricating, and installing parts, and utilizing a variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment to complete the job. This is a full-time opportunity with shifts available on the 1st and 2nd shift.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years previous Assembly experience
- Experience reading prints and schematics
- Ability to work independently
- Expertise with basic hand tools, air tools, gages and torque wrenches required
- Good hand eye coordination and excellent natural or corrected vision
- Understanding of electrical principles and UL Requirements is highly desired
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work Overtime is required
- Pre-employment physical is required
