About The Position

This opportunity is for their Electric Heat business, a leader in electric heating and ventilation solutions for commercial, industrial, and residential applications. They offer a wide range of standard and customized products through leading brands like QMark, Indeeco, Berko, and Brasch, focusing on high-quality, energy-efficient solutions. As a Wirer, you will assemble all heater unit product codes and fabricate necessary components as required per work order, blueprint, and engineering specification.

Requirements

• One to three months related experience and/or training

Nice To Haves

• Certified in the following ASME brazing procedures, BPS-B1, BPS-B2, BPS-B3, BPS-B4, BPS-B5
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Responsibilities

• Lays out diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
• Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
• Attaches breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, and insulators.
• Hydro test per specification.
• Paints product as necessary.
• Installs and wires Thermostats and other options.
• Fabricates bussing, and solders connections.
• Tests and adjusts electrical components.
• Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervision or engineering to clarify assembly problems.
