About The Position

Develop, integrate and validate state of the art Cellular Modem Solution. Perform bring-up and optimization of various end to end features for state-of-the-art cellular modem solution in both pre silicon and post silicon environments. Responsible for full operation and optimization of PHY/Layer1 Modules. Design and develop end to end performance KPI tests in the lab. Optimize various PHY algorithms to achieve best performance and correlate with simulation results. Analyze various issues observed in the lab and the field related to L1/ MAC/ RF and bring them to resolution.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Utilizing communication systems theory to interpret and analyze cellular baseband signals, develop algorithms for efficient estimation and detection of cellular signals.
  • Utilizing signal processing to analyze cellular signals.
  • Utilizing 4G and 5G Cellular Standards and protocols to develop a solution conforming to a standard governing body, including 3GPP.
  • Working with cellular test equipment in a lab to validate the cellular modem solution is conforming to cellular standards (3GPP) and working according to the design expectations.
  • Using wireless communication physical layer, modulation and coding schemes.
  • Utilizing C, C++, Matlab, or Python.
  • Using system bring-up, integration, characterization, and debug of cellular silicon solution in a lab.
  • Utilizing theory of operation of various wireless test equipment in the lab including various cellular protocol test equipment and spectrum analyzer.
