About The Position

Russell Cellular, a Verizon Authorized Retailer, is hiring a Wireless Specialist to provide customers with individualized service and recommend wireless products and services suited to their needs. The role involves retail sales of phones, tablets, watches, other devices, and wireless services, while representing Russell Cellular’s values of Integrity, Expertise, Initiative, and Service and its commitment to Care for Every Person.

The specialist also helps create sales opportunities through marketing campaigns, community events, and follow-up calls to current customers. Additional duties include staying current on the company’s and industry’s products and services, demonstrating equipment, and assisting with daily store operations. The position offers a $12-per-hour base rate plus uncapped commissions; the posting states average earnings with commission are $17 per hour, with potential to earn more.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Sell cellular phones, tablets, watches, other devices, and wireless services to the general public while providing outstanding customer service.
• Create additional sales opportunities through marketing campaigns in cooperation with the Marketing Department and through community involvement events.
• Contact current customers by phone to pursue additional sales opportunities.
• Maintain current knowledge of Russell Cellular and wireless products and services, and demonstrate equipment capabilities.
• Handle daily store operations, including opening and closing, inventory control, cash management, and office or administrative duties.
• Develop and monitor action plans to achieve daily and monthly sales goals.
• Identify customers’ needs and provide individualized service and product recommendations.
