About The Position

Arch Telecom is a national Wireless Preferred Retailer with over 200 retail stores across the U.S., providing superior service and quality wireless products since 1993. We are seeking Mobile Associates (MAs) to work as part of a Retail Team, bringing the brand to life and embodying Arch Telecom's Core Values. MAs act as brand ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around products and services in a fast-paced, fun environment where customer needs are the top priority. This role involves building meaningful connections with customers, uncovering their needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. It is a learning role, with expectations to build skills and expertise for a promotion to Mobile Expert upon training completion.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school degree or GED
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25lbs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Full Time (40 hours) or Part Time (20+ hours) availability
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience
  • Retail environment experience preferred
  • A strong desire to learn and master the skills required of customer advocates
  • A strong desire to build meaningful connections with customers
  • Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing best practices
  • Ability to serve customers and provide resolutions to issues
  • Effective at balancing customer experience and performance goals

Responsibilities

  • Learn and build proficiency in customer service while providing a best-in-class customer experience and building loyalty.
  • Help customers in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
  • Explore individual customer needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
  • Guide customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and expertise.
  • Approach service and sales needs with patience, honesty, and empathy.
  • Become proficient in using digital tools to enhance interactions and onboarding.
  • Demonstrate network coverage and explain plan benefits.
  • Redefine wireless services through device and account inspection, review, and troubleshooting.
  • Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, processes, systems, and reference resources.
  • Build relationships with and partner with employees across channels, including business and customer service, to collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues.
  • Successfully identify and handoff small business leads.
  • Develop strong peer relationships and be accountable for the company's success.
  • Be willing to have a good time while providing first-class customer experience.
