About The Position

As a Wire Harness Assembler, your primary responsibility is repairing, assembling and testing wire harnesses. What does a Wire Harness Assembler do at RVI? Follow procedures or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. Perform visual inspections to ensure parts and assemblies meet customer specifications and standards. Input data and tasks into computer. Print labels for boxes. Package units and attaches required labels. Assist team members in improving processes and procedures.

Requirements

• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos and differences in numbering sequences
• Can apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions
• Can deal with standardized situations with only occasion or no variables
• Works with and handles various tools and materials
• Computer skills including Word, Excel and Power Point are helpful, but are not required
• Many tasks include their own work and /or the review of work of others in the department.
