About The Position

Nesco Resource is seeking a 3rd Shift Wire EDM Operator for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Bethel, CT. The role involves setting up and operating multiple Wire EDM machines to ensure maximum efficiency and contribute to departmental goals. The operator will also be responsible for using hand measurement tools, collecting data for process improvement, and collaborating with process engineering to reduce scrap and increase productivity. Other duties may be assigned by the EDM Supervisor or Manufacturing Manager.

Requirements

High School Degree or equivalent required.
Three to Five years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret production work instructions, routers and specifications.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from operators and to upper management and auditors.

Responsibilities
