About The Position

The Winter Wander Team Member will serve in the roles of Show Operations, including ticketing attendant, retail attendant, photography attendant, and Food & Beverage staff. This includes working at The Wander Lounge, The Wander Outpost, Frost & Fire, and the Boar’s Head Food Truck. Responsibilities may include acting as a runner for food and drinks, and emptying trash. Team members will be expected to work across different roles on different nights and should be willing to work any assigned role at the event. The role requires supporting show operations and food & beverage operations, working collaboratively with team members to provide a premiere guest experience, and meeting and exceeding Forbes and Boar's Head CORE Standards. Attendance at a Winter Wander orientation is mandatory.

Requirements

• Current high school or college student with interest in or studying in the fields of hospitality, events, or a related field.
• Industry Experience – Hospitality and/or Events.
• Experienced with online ticketing systems.
• Must have a valid Driver's License or be able to have transportation to and from work.
• Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comply with all Resort safety rules.
• Use appropriate safety equipment at all times.
• Immediately report all unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Be familiar with all safety features or equipment, machinery or materials encompassed by job duties.
• Check with supervisor if there is a question as to the safe procedure to be used for any job function.

Responsibilities

• Staff Winter Wander to support show operations and food & beverage operations in the roles of ticketing, retail, photography attendant, bar staff, and runner (food, drinks, and trash).
• Be flexible to work the role needed each night, as assigned by a supervisor.
• Work in conjunction with all team members in show operations and food & beverage teams to provide a premiere guest experience.
• Meet and exceed Forbes basic standards and Boar’s Head Resort and Winter Wander CORE Standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
