Winter Resident Registered Nurse, Geriatrics / Pulmonary, Full Time, Night
About The Position
Winter 2026 New Graduate RN Residency Program (to begin early December 2026). This program is for New Graduate RNs with no prior RN/LPN work experience or less than 6 months of LPN/RN experience. The program focuses on delivering expert care to geriatric patients with complex medical conditions, specializing in NICHE geriatric care, pulmonary expertise in managing COPD, pneumonia, and other respiratory conditions, and cardiac care for heart failure, arrhythmias, and related cardiovascular issues. All resident positions are for the NIGHT SHIFT ONLY. Residents will be hired onto the day shift for the beginning of their orientation and will be transitioned to the night shift at some point in the first six months.
Requirements
- New Graduate RN with no prior RN/LPN work experience or less than 6 months of LPN/RN experience.
- Graduating with their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in May or August of 2026.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Current American Heart Association BLS for the healthcare provider certification required upon entering the program and valid for a minimum of 3 months post the start date.
- Must successfully obtain a New Jersey Registered Nurse License (not just the license number) by at least two weeks before the residency start date.
- List current GPA on resume.
- Indicate why Geriatrics is your area of preference in your cover letter.
- Submit a cover letter and a resume that includes your GPA.

- Related working clinical experience is a plus.
