Winter Resident Registered Nurse, Geriatrics / Pulmonary, Full Time, Night
About The Position
Winter 2026 New Graduate RN Residency Program (to begin early December 2026). This program is for New Graduate RNs with no prior RN/LPN work experience or less than 6 months of LPN/RN experience. Only BSN new graduates who graduated in May or August of 2026 are being considered. The N7A Geriatrics/Pulmonary unit focuses on delivering expert care to geriatric patients with complex medical conditions, specializing in NICHE geriatric care, pulmonary expertise (COPD, pneumonia, respiratory conditions), and cardiac care (heart failure, arrhythmias). All resident positions are for the NIGHT SHIFT ONLY, with a transition to the night shift within the first six months of employment.
Requirements
- New Graduate RN with no prior RN/LPN work experience or less than 6 months of LPN/RN experience.
- Graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in May or August of 2026.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Current American Heart Association BLS for the healthcare provider certification required upon entering the program and valid for a minimum of 3 months post the start date.
- Successfully obtain a New Jersey Registered Nurse License by at least two weeks before the residency start date.
- List current GPA on resume.
- Indicate why Geriatrics is your area of preference in your cover letter.
- Submit a cover letter and a resume that includes your GPA.

- Related working clinical experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver expert care to geriatric patients with complex medical conditions.

- Manage COPD, pneumonia, and other respiratory conditions.
- Provide cardiac care for heart failure, arrhythmias, and related cardiovascular issues.
