About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to supplement academic learning with real-world experience. Interns will participate in various projects, working with teams across the firm and collaborating with experienced professionals to complete tasks. The internship is scheduled from January 2027 to April 2027 and is based in Westerly, RI. It is not a remote internship.

Requirements

• Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours Monday - Saturday (based on academic availability) from January 2027 - April 2027

Nice To Haves

• Currently pursuing a degree Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Accounting
• Strong academic track record
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments
• Good written and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Developing an understanding of tax planning and preparation services for clients by participating in the tax preparation process from source document processing to tax return completion
• Participating in training sessions to increase working knowledge of various tax preparation software and accounting regulations
• Performing other accounting duties as needed to meet the responsibility of the tax intern position and client expectations
• Supplementing academic learning with real-world experience
• Participating in various projects, working with teams from across the firm
• Collaborating with experienced professionals to complete tasks
