About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to develop an understanding of tax planning and preparation services for clients by participating in the tax preparation process from source document processing to tax return completion. Interns will also participate in training sessions to increase working knowledge of various tax preparation software and accounting regulations, and perform other accounting duties as needed to meet the responsibility of the tax intern position and client expectations. Over the course of the internship, participants will supplement their academic learning with real-world experience, participate in various projects, working with teams from across the firm, and collaborate with experienced professionals to complete tasks. This is a non-remote internship located in Groton, CT.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Accounting
  • Strong academic track record
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments
  • Good written and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours Monday - Saturday (based on academic availability) from January 2027 - April 2027
